The Subcontract Totaling Over $450,000 is for Immediate Delivery

MicroTel International Inc. (OTCBB: MCTL) ("MicroTel") Wednesday announced that its Digitran Division of XIT Corp. has received a U.S. Army subcontract for Night Vision Goggle compatible switches valued in excess of $450,000. The Digitran(R) switches are used to upgrade Army aircraft cockpit instrumentation to be compatible with Night Vision Illumination Systems (NVIS).

According to William J. Miller, vice president & general manager of XIT: "The Digitran Division is the sole source supplier for certain Night Vision switches for military and other U.S. government aircraft applications. The use of the Digitran(R) NVIS compatible switches is a highly cost-effective solution for this application.

"These Digitran(R) switches are form, fit and function replacements for existing Digitran(R) switches in a number of older cockpit mounted control systems not previously NVG compatible. The use of Digitran's advanced night vision lighting technologies saves the Army the very costly replacement of several existing cockpit control systems to achieve NVIS compatibility."
