Mr. Pierre-Karl Peladeau, President and Chief Executive Officer of Quebecor Inc. (TSE:QBR.A.)(TSE:QBR.B.), is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Claude Helie to the position of Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of the Corporation.
Mr. Helie graduated from l'Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales de Montreal and has been a member of the Order of Chartered Accountants of Quebec since 1970. He brings to Quebecor Inc. more than 35 years of financial expertise. He started his career with Campbell Sharp, C.A. in 1965 and worked as a Controller for The Chanteclerc Hotel until 1973, when he joigned the Compagnie de gestion Thomson ltee. From 1977 to 1982, he served as Treasurer for Industries TIW Ltee., to become in 1982, Vice-President Finance and Treasurer of the Societe generale de financement du Quebec. Since 1994, he was Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of Donohue Inc. Mr. Helie also sits on several the Board of Directors of several companies.
