Potential NASDAQ Delisting of Information Management Associates, Inc

SHELTON, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 20, 2000
Information Management Associates, Inc. (NASDAQ:IMAA) today reported the Company has been notified by Nasdaq of a potential delisting of the Company's common stock from the Nasdaq Stock Market.
Nasdaq's notice stated that the Company's common stock will be delisted at the opening of business on April 27, 2000 unless the Company files its Form 10-K with the Securities and Exchange Commission by April 25, 2000. The Company announced on April 10, 2000 that it would not file its Form 10-K by the required filing date of April 14, 2000. The Company intends to request a hearing to appeal the proposed delisting. A hearing request will stay the delisting of the Company's common stock pending Nasdaq's decision. The symbol for the Company's common stock has been changed from "IMAA" to "IMAAE" commencing on April 20, 2000.
