PTC and Origin Technology in Business Expand Strategic Alliance; Origin Delivers Integrated B2B Solutions to Clients Worldwide Through the PTC Enterprise Consulting Program

PTC (NASDAQ:PMTC), a leading provider of collaborative product commerce (CPC) solutions, today announced it has expanded its strategic alliance with Origin Technology in Business (Origin), supporting Origin's new, full-scale practice area focused on CPC. Origin, one of the world's leading management consulting companies, will deliver end-to-end CPC consulting services to discrete manufacturing clients based on PTC's Windchill software.
Together, PTC and Origin offer total solutions that empower customers to leverage the power of the Internet to collaborate among organizations, strategic suppliers, and customers to conceive, develop, and deliver innovative products that differentiate themselves within their markets. By deploying Windchill-based CPC solutions, customers will be able to achieve significant benefits including reduced time-to-market, increased revenues, and improved profitability and customer satisfaction.
The PTC and Origin alliance enables the companies to increase joint solution development, marketing, and sales activities. In addition, Origin's Competency Centers will include Windchill-based CPC demonstration capabilities. Origin's CPC competency area will be ramped up over the next nine months with up to 100 consultants to be trained on Windchill.
