USADATA.com's web site will become the first real-time, pay-as-you-go link to Acxiom's InfoBase(TM) consumer and business lists, which are recognized as among the most accurate, high-quality marketing files. With the Acxiom Data Network serving information via the Internet or private networks straight to desktops, clients gain real-time access to InfoBase's data on more than 90 million households, 150 million individuals and 12 million businesses.
USADATA.com is also creating client-specific portals for large corporations, associations, franchise organizations and not-for-profit groups. These customized portals will give sales forces, agents, and brokers access to Acxiom lists and to other research sources available through USADATA.com.
Advanta Corporation, Spring House, PA (Nasdaq:ADVNA/ADVNB) (www.advanta.com) has already signed a contract with USADATA.com for a customized business-to-business marketing portal to enhance its current Web site for brokers and correspondents at www.AdvantaBC.com. The marketing portal will provide Advanta-approved brokers and correspondents with industry-unique, value-added features that will assist them in growing their business.
The USADATA.com/Acxiom alliance will improve the effectiveness, speed and cost of prospecting for new customers and business. Users of both the public Web site and customized portals will be able to perform basic and advanced market research and analysis to identify high-potential sales leads. They can then use this knowledge to acquire the freshest, targeted lists from InfoBase.
Users will also be able to optimize their list selections by overlaying research from USADATA.com's proprietary LifeStyle Connect(TM) analysis system.
"Our clients will now have one place to go to research their markets, and then to reach them," said USADATA.com president Ric Murphy. "By joining our Internet technology and our current data sources with the Acxiom Data Network, we can meet the needs of sales and marketing professionals working outside the traditional corporate office."
"We're very excited to be working with a fast-moving, growing company like USADATA.com," added Jack Proehl, Acxiom's business unit leader for strategic relationships.
