SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 4, 2000
Klever Marketing (TM) Inc. (OTCBB:KLMK) will introduce state-of-the-art technology when it unveils Klever-Kart(R) in May at the Food Marketing Institute (FMI) show in Chicago.
Klever-Kart is the most effective in-store communication medium available as it combines sight and sound to increase product movement at the Point-of-Selection(R).
"We anticipate a fantastic reception at our FMI exhibit where we will demonstrate Klever-Kart to the retail and consumer goods community," said Corey A. Hamilton, vice president sales and marketing. "We are confident that once they have all seen the system in action, they will discover the current advantages and the endless possibilities of our electronic marketing system."
Klever-Kart acts as a consumer's personal shopping assistant as it provides necessary information on an interactive LCD display mounted to their shopping cart handle. It is the only tool that can greet the shopper at the store entrance, give directions to specific products or locations in a store, and highlight specific brand messages, while building loyalty through its unique one-on-one relationship.
Klever-Kart displays brand equity advertising and promotional messages at the Point-of-Selection(R), where the ultimate purchase decision is made. Shoppers love the animated scenes as well as the in-store product directory. Upcoming developments include the already-patented paperless electronic coupons and the frequent shopper enhancement, Klever-Kard(SM).
FMI is a non-profit association that has sponsored the Supermarket Industry Convention and Educational Exposition, the largest annual supermarket exposition in the world, for more than 60 years. Klever Marketing(TM) will be exhibiting in the North Hall at booth No. 5771 and invite all attendees to visit.
Klever Marketing(TM) Inc., www.kleverkart.com, is publicly traded on the OTC Bulletin Board under the symbol "KLMK." The company's formula of SIGHT SOUND = PRODUCT MOVEMENT(R) is defined through the use of visual and audible stimulation that encourages impulse buying, brand switching and new product trials.
During audited testing, the Klever-Kart system delivered over 46 percent average incremental sales increases without any promoted price reductions.
Important factors that may cause actual results to differ include, but are not limited to, the impact of competitive products and services, the company's ability to manage growth and acquisitions of technology of businesses, the effect of economic and business conditions and other risks detailed from time to time in the company's filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
