Wireless Knowledge Appoints New Chief Marketing Officer To Support Rapid Business Expansion

SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 14, 2000
Wireless Knowledge Inc., a Microsoft Corp. (Nasdaq: MSFT) and QUALCOMM Inc. (Nasdaq: QCOM) company, Monday announced the appointment of Peggy Biddison as chief marketing officer and vice president of marketing.
Reporting to Chairman and CEO Eric Schultz, Biddison is chartered with managing and expanding all aspects of marketing at Wireless Knowledge including product management, product marketing, channel marketing, business development and communications.
A 20-year technology industry veteran, Biddison has extensive expertise in enterprise products for the manufacturing, financial, distribution, supply chain, customer relationship and knowledge management markets, as well as broad experience in international marketing at both private and public companies.
"Peggy's wealth of industry knowledge and experience will be invaluable to Wireless Knowledge as we continue to expand our customer base and market presence," said Schultz. "Her leadership will help Wireless Knowledge leverage our growing momentum among enterprise customers, and further establish the company as a leader in the mobile enterprise data access arena."
Biddison joined Wireless Knowledge from ServiceWare, a provider of customer relationship management and knowledge management solutions, where she served as vice president of marketing. Prior to that, she was vice president of global marketing at QAD Inc., a global supplier of enterprise resource planning software. Her background also includes executive-level positions in professional services, sales, and research and development at leading technology companies including Fourth Shift Corp., Western Data Systems, and Peat, Marwick, Mitchell and Co.
Biddison graduated with honors from the University of California at Santa Cruz, and holds a bachelors degree in anthropology and economics.
