Ricoh Corporation To Supply Document Workflow Management Solutions To the 82nd PGA Championship

Ricoh Corporation, the Official Copier and Fax of the PGA of America, will provide more than 80 pieces of Ricoh digital imaging equipment at this week's 82nd PGA Championship at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, KY.
Ricoh office equipment, including copiers, facsimiles, and printers will be on site throughout the Golf Club in PGA offices, scoring offices, business centers and the media center.
"The PGA of America, requires a fleet of high-quality digital imaging systems to provide continued document, imaging and communications support for thousands of users during the Championship," said Jim Ivy, President of Ricoh's Office Products Group. "Ricoh has provided the advanced digital products to efficiently and effectively address the goals of the PGA Championship."
At the backbone of the media center are two RICOH Aficio 850 digital imaging systems. Ricoh's unique Connect Copy feature, which links the two Aficio 850s, will double output speed to 170 pages-per-minute (ppm) for high-volume production applications. This connected unit creates a productive and cost-efficient alternative to expensive high-speed systems, and provides crucial backup in demanding printing environments.
