Built on the Onyx e-Business Engine, Promon IP's ASP offering leverages Onyx Employee Portal, which consolidates business relationship data with third-party applications and relevant Internet information into a single, personalizable interface, allowing marketing, sales and service teams to acquire, analyze, expand and retain customers by capturing and sharing all customer information. The Promon IP ASP offering will offer small and medium businesses a highly scalable, proven suite of relationship management capabilities on a monthly rental basis. Promon IP will host Onyx and will be responsible for business process consulting and service level agreements.
"Companies in Brazil are hungry to participate in the exciting world of commerce happening on the Internet. A hosted customer relationship management and e-business solution is a breakthrough in the way business applications are available today in Brazil. It is the first offering of its kind and opens up a whole new paradigm in the way Brazilian companies can compete for customers, not only here but elsewhere in the world," said Rodrigo Abreu, CEO of Promon IP. "Onyx is a highly scalable, personalizable relationship management solution ideally suited for hosting and Promon IP is confident this offering will accelerate the ability for Brazilian companies to become customer-centric, and more profitable."
"Onyx and Promon IP have created an offering that will be extended to thousands of small and medium organizations in Brazil at a time when the Internet is having a tremendous impact on the way global business is being conducted," said Brent Frei, Onyx Software president and CEO. "Brazil is the world's seventh largest economy, and the region is adopting the Internet faster than anywhere else. The timing couldn't be better for Onyx and Promon IP to be first-to-market with this offering."
Onyx Software's proven ASP technology is now available through ASP partners on every continent.
