Commonwealth Telephone Enterprises Names Logue As New Vice President of Human Resources

DALLAS, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 24, 2000
Michael J. Mahoney, president and chief executive officer of Commonwealth Telephone Enterprises, Inc. (CTE) (Nasdaq: CTCO, CTCOB), today announced the appointment of F. Andrew Logue as vice president of human resources, effective immediately.
In this position, Mr. Logue will be responsible for recruitment, hiring and training; employee benefits and compensation; human resources information systems; the payroll function; and leadership development for all CTE companies. Mr. Logue will report to Mr. Mahoney.
Mr. Logue has over 28 years of experience in the human resources arena. Before joining CTE, Mr. Logue served for 13 years with National Service Industries, Inc. (NSI), a Fortune 500 manufacturing firm in Atlanta, GA. Most recently, he held the position of NSI's corporate vice president of human resources, where he was responsible for directing the human resource functions for the company's five operating divisions. He had also served as vice president of human resources for Lithonia Lighting, NSI's largest business unit.
Prior to NSI, Mr. Logue held executive-level human resources positions with Health America Corporation, an HMO operating in 19 states and headquartered in Nashville, TN; and American Hospital Supply Corporation, a manufacturer and distributor of healthcare products and services, Chicago, IL.
Mr. Logue holds a B.S. in economics and management from Temple University, Philadelphia, PA; and an M.A. in industrial human relations from Ohio University, Athens, OH.
