Intersil Holding Corporation Files Follow-On Public Offering Registration Statement

IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 25, 2000

Intersil Holding Corporation (Nasdaq:ISIL) announced today that it has delivered for filing a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for a follow-on public offering of its Class A Common Stock. It is expected that a total of 10,000,000 shares will be offered, including 3,000,000 newly issued shares to be sold by Intersil Holding Corporation and 7,000,000 outstanding shares to be sold by existing stockholders. Intersil Holding Corporation currently intends to use the net proceeds from the proposed offering for acquisitions or general corporate purposes.
