Fifth Era Knowledge Inc. and McMaster University to Open Information Technology Centre

CALGARY, Alberta--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 29, 2000

Fifth Era Knowledge Inc. ("Fifth Era") (CDNX:FER.) and McMaster University ("McMaster") are pleased to announce the opening of the Information Technology Centre on the McMaster campus in Hamilton, Ontario.

The centre will be officially launched with McMaster's Info Tech Advisor Program as the first technology program to be offered in the new facility.

"This centre will be utilized by Fifth Era and McMaster to deliver advanced information technology training to corporate and University clientele," said Peter Stunden, President, Fifth Era Knowledge Inc. "We are excited about this partnership with McMaster, as it gives Fifth Era a significant presence in southern Ontario's business and educational community. The launch of the centre coincides with the opening of the Fifth Era office in Mississauga."

The centre will feature the latest in advanced technical training in an online and instructor led format. The online delivery in the centre is made possible through Fifth Era's proprietary Incode (Internet Content Delivery Engine) technology.

The first offering in the new centre will be McMaster's Info Tech Advisor Program. This program delivers training in emerging computer technologies, including Web Design and Internet tools and techniques. The Info Tech Advisor program was jointly developed by Fifth Era and McMaster.
