AudioRamp, Inc., the leading provider of Intelligent Audio(TM) Products and Services, today announced a strategic alliance with InterTrust(R) Technologies Corporation (NASDAQ: ITRU), the leading developer of peer to peer, distributed digital rights management (DRM) technology, to integrate InterTrust's MetaTrust Utility(TM) DRM across AudioRamp's Internet stereo product line. AudioRamp will first integrate InterTrust's technology in the iRad-S and iRad-C, which is scheduled for shipment this Fall.
The unique features of the iRad family of Internet stereos enable users to play secure streaming audio, retrieve, store and play MP3 or WMA audio files and allow users to interact with online audio resources such as news, events and eCommerce music sites to enhance the consumer experience.
