Prism Software is Awarded Contract by the State of Maine

Prism Software Corp. (OTCBB:PSOF) Tuesday announced that it has been contacted with the state of Maine to install its PrintConsole PRO(TM) and PrintExec Plus products at the state's IS Bureau site.

The IS Bureau is required to accept new data from the Maine State of Government Agencies via their WAN and print them on their Xerox legacy printers. In addition to this requirement, they must be able to convert data from their BULL mainframe and AFP data from their IBM mainframe to print on the Xerox printers.

Prism's PrintConsole PRO(TM) PrintManager NT-PCL, PrintExec Plus for AFP in addition to the newly developed Prism PCL-WIDE Driver (which allows edge-to-edge printing from a PCL application) will convert PCL, ASCII and AFP data in addition to converting the state's metacode data to AFP.

Prism Software is scheduled to install the product at the state site in January 2001.
