BURLINGTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 19, 2000
Juniper Bank (www.juniper.com), an online and wireless consumer financial services company and a division of Columbus Bank and Trust Company, and RadView(TM) Software Ltd. (Nasdaq: RDVW) announced today that Juniper has implemented RadView's award-winning WebLoad(TM) Web application testing and analysis solution to ensure that its banking systems are scalable for high-volume electronic banking traffic.
Using WebLoad, Juniper can accurately simulate high volumes of Website traffic while simultaneously monitoring for system errors and response times. Juniper also relies on WebLoad to predict how well its Web systems will react to events, such as major marketing campaigns, that precipitate high user traffic on the site.
"As an online bank, our customers expect our site to be operational 24 hours a day. RadView's WebLoad software enables us to test our systems, identify potential problems, and make appropriate hardware, software or network changes before we launch our Web applications," said Mike Cortese, chief technology officer, Juniper Financial Corp. "We were impressed with WebLoad's ability to realistically test the scalability of our Web applications under enterprise-class loads, and we were pleased with the shortened development and deployment lifecycle we experienced with WebLoad."
"RadView is excited to be working with Juniper Bank because solid Website performance is critical in the online financial service market. It illustrates the high degree of confidence in the reliability of their e-business applications that we provide to our customers," said Ilan Kinreich, president and chief executive officer, RadView Software.
