INDIANAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 19, 2000
Interactive Intelligence Ranked First Out of Twenty-Four Companies,
With 1,094% Growth Revenue From 1997 to 1999
Interactive Intelligence Inc. (Nasdaq:ININ) was named fastest growing public company in the Indianapolis area in Indianapolis Business Journal's 2001 Book of Lists (Volume 21 No. 39).
The ranking was based on revenue growth from fiscal years 1997 to 1999. Interactive Intelligence ranked number one with 1,094% growth revenue. The second fastest growing company listed growth revenue of 178%.
Interactive Intelligence president and CEO, Dr. Donald E. Brown, founded the company in 1994 with a handful of employees. Today, Interactive Intelligence employs nearly 400 people located in offices around the world, including Europe, Asia and Latin America.
"Upon going public last September, we announced to our employees that our objective was to grow our revenues by at least 100%, year over year," said Dr. Brown. "We've kept that promise despite volatile financial markets and an uncertain business climate. Our first place ranking is further affirmation that we've remained true to our business plan of aggressive growth and rapid turn to profitability."
