LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 19, 2000

Vanguard Integrity Professionals and the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA) Tuesday jointly announced that they have entered into a partnership agreement to present the 2001 Annual ISSA Conference in Reno, Nev., June 3-8, 2001.

The conference will be held in conjunction with the 15th Annual Vanguard Enterprise Security Expo 2001 at the Reno Hilton Hotel.

The ISSA is a not-for-profit, international organization of information security professionals and practitioners. The association provides education forums, publications and peer interaction opportunities that enhance the knowledge, skill and professional growth of its members.

Vanguard Integrity Professionals is a worldwide leader in information security solutions. The company offers a broad range of enterprise security software products, consulting services, training and conferences.

"This year, the ISSA has teamed up with Vanguard to deliver an even broader curriculum and forum for ISSA members and potential members to learn and discuss important issues of common interest," said Deb Peinert, ISSA director of education.

"Vanguard is a pioneer and recognized leader in the security industry, and we are very excited to be working closely with them to produce this year's conference.

"Attending the Annual ISSA Conference in conjunction with the Vanguard Enterprise Security Expo 2001 is a tremendous opportunity to receive practical, real-world security education -- not to mention an excellent way to support the outstanding efforts of the ISSA," said Matt Dimond, Vanguard's director of conferences and training.

"These two concurrent events will be truly synergistic. Each will feature its own educational tracks and a shared vendor exhibit show, while a single admission will gain attendees access to all the events."

Expo 2001 is geared exclusively to information technology professionals who are responsible for improving the security of their enterprise computing environments. Year after year, IT professionals return to this premier educational event for real-world, practical solutions for evaluating, implementing and managing the protection of corporate information assets. Expo 2001 educational tracks include:
