20th Edition of Aetna's African American History Calendar Released; 2001 Calendar Celebrates Historically Black Colleges and Universities

Aetna Inc. today released the 20th edition of its African American History Calendar. The 2001 calendar, which celebrates historically black colleges and universities, highlights the contributions of distinguished alumni from these schools.
"Aetna has recognized the outstanding contributions of African Americans since first issuing the African American History Calendar in 1982," said Aetna Chairman William H. Donaldson. "This year's calendar focuses on the work of historically black colleges and universities in offering educational opportunities to millions of people. Aetna's 2001 Calendar of African American History features both monthly profiles of 13 historically black colleges and universities and prominent graduates, as well as a listing of significant daily events. This year's calendar highlights the contributions of the following individuals:
