PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 21, 2000
Numoda Corporation today announced that they have received third-party validation for their wireless clinical trials technology.
Numoda's infrastructure and technology were reviewed and tested by an independent organization in order to guarantee that they were compliant with the stringent requirements of FDA article 21 CFR Part 11, for which they have been for some time. Numoda received third-party validation at the request of one of its pharmaceutical clients, which is the largest medical device maker in the world.
"Having undergone this incredibly rigorous process, we're ready for anything," said Mary Schaheen, President and CEO of Numoda Corporation. "We're a wireless company, so that means anywhere, anytime."
The third-party validation process was performed to demonstrate the range, capabilities, security and accuracy provided by Numoda's infrastructure to support clinical trials and their rigorous quality monitoring process. Pharmaceutical, medical device, and academic institutions performing clinical trials need technology that has been third party validated in order to prepare for the potential of an FDA audit. This validation is critical, considering the recent scrutiny surrounding the clinical trials process.
"Third-party validation is a rigorous process and Numoda Corporation is excited to offer its clients this level of comfort," added Schaheen.
