nCommand today named Rudolph "Rudy" Batties to the position of vice president of product development for its electronic partner network (EPN), which serves the mortgage banking industry.
In this new role Batties will direct XML development efforts associated with the linking and synchronization of workflow processes between mortgage lenders and third-party service providers. Previously, Batties served as senior director of product development and was instrumental in launching nCommand's first EPN.
"Rudy has initiated and managed key technical relationships that have made our digital processing network a reality for the mortgage industry," said Anthony Wright, president and CEO of nCommand. "He has provided operational and strategic leadership and has been highly successful in the difficult role of matching internal resources with the dynamic needs of our customers. We are pleased to recognize his contribution with this expanded role."
"I have worked for a number of cutting-edge, visionary technology companies in Silicon Valley," said Batties, who has more than 10 years of experience in high-tech development, "but none have had the potential for revolutionizing an industry that nCommand has. This is a real groundbreaking effort, and I am extremely excited to be a part of it."
Prior to joining the company in early 1999, Batties held senior management posts at CSE Systems, Secure Computing Corp., Mosaic Inc., Adobe Systems and Hewlett-Packard Co.
Batties holds an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business. He resides in Palo Alto with his wife and two children.
