ABCNEWS.com, (www.abcnews.com) part of the Walt Disney Internet Group, (NYSE: DIG), will mark the 20th anniversary of John Lennon's death with the premiere of "Lennon in New York," an exclusive 'webumentary' that will offer an up-close-and-personal look into Lennon's life and presence in New York City.

The four-part series, launching Tuesday, December 5, will showcase exclusive interviews with Lennon's friends and acquaintances, who knew him well during the final years of his life, providing in-depth information to the public for the first time. On Wednesday, December 6, ABCNEWS.com will host a chat with Yoko Ono at 2:00 PM, ET during which users can ask questions of Lennon's widow. Video interactives include interviews with Lennon's New York friends who discuss the man and the musician. Interviews include:

David Peel - Greenwich Village street musician, and one of Lennon's first friends in New York.

May Pang - Lennon's mistress, accomplice from his "Lost Weekend" in Los Angeles, and Yoko's longtime friend.

Kate Millet - feminist writer of the 70's, founder of the New York Women's Society and longtime friend of John and Yoko.

Dennis Ferrante - Grammy-award winning album engineer who worked on a number of Lennon's albums.

Said Saber - Lennon's pharmacist and day-to-day acquaintance of the couple

Additionally, the 'webumentary' will stream a phone interview with John Weiner, whose biography about Lennon, released last year, looked at the immigration problems he had upon moving to America, and why these problems occurred. Other interactive features include a Beatles and John Lennon discography, slideshow, timeline and Quick-time virtual reality photography of the Dakota - Lennon's final home in New York and the place of his death.
