Image Entertainment Acquires Worldwide Home Video Rights to ``Christina Aguilera: My Reflection''

June Release Planned for DVD and Videocassette;

International Broadcast Rights Included in Deal

Image Entertainment, Inc. (NASDAQ:DISK), today announced that it has acquired worldwide home video rights to a new Christina Aguilera concert, "My Reflection," from Aguilera and RCA Music Group, a Unit of BMG Entertainment.

The DVD and videocassette releases are planned for June 5, 2001. International broadcast rights are also included in the agreement.

This program, from Grammy Award-winning pop sensation Christina Aguilera, was broadcast on Sunday, Dec. 3, on the ABC television network. The broadcast will be made available for the rest of the world through Aviva International, Image's joint-venture partner. Subsequently, Aviva will handle the international home video releases. The program, Aguilera's first network television special, was taped at Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium and coincides with her recently released RCA album, "My Kind of Christmas." The DVD and videocassette will be an expanded edition of the ABC program and will contain material not seen in the broadcast version.

Christina Aguilera burst upon the music scene a year ago with her smash debut album, "Christina Aguilera," for RCA Records. The album has produced two No. 1 singles and has sold in excess of 8 million copies worldwide. Aguilera is currently embarked on a North American concert tour, and her new Spanish language album and new Christmas album continue to win her legions of fans throughout the world.
