Andrea Jung Joins Salomon Smith Barney's International Advisory Board

Citigroup announced today that Andrea Jung, President and Chief Executive Officer of Avon Products, Inc., has joined the International Advisory Board of Salomon Smith Barney. Avon is the world's leading direct seller of beauty and related products.
Andrea Jung was named President and Chief Executive Officer of Avon Products, Inc. (NYSE: AVP) effective November 4, 1999. She had been President and Chief Operating Officer since July 1, 1998. Jung has been a member of Avon's Board of Directors since January 1998. Since joining Avon in 1994, she held a number of positions concentrating on global marketing, research and development and strategic planning.
Ms. Jung is a graduate of Princeton University and serves on the Board of Directors of the General Electric Company and Catalyst. She is a member of the Princeton University Board of Trustees and was named one of the "50 Most Powerful Women in American Business" from 1998-2000 by Forbes magazine.

The International Advisory Board is comprised of a number of the world's foremost business, financial, and former government leaders.
