Paradigm Advanced Technologies Inc. (&uot;Paradigm&uot;) (OTCBB:PRAV) confirmed today that it has a contract with the current patent holder to a broad-based patent to be the exclusive worldwide licensing agent for the patent.

The Patent (US Patent No. 5,031,736) was granted in 1991 and was reexamined in 1994 (Reexamination Certificate No. B1 5,043,736). The patent covers the process whereby signals from the satellite global position system (&uot;GPS&uot;) are transmitted over any cellular telephone network to a base unit. As a result of the reexamination the number of claims were increased from 4 to 6. The patent is valid until 2011.

The Strategis Group of Washington D.C. projects that revenues from location-based wireless consumer services are expected to rise more than 100-fold, from less than $30 million in 1999 to $3.9 billion by 2004.

&uot;We are looking forward to sharing in this explosive growth in wireless location services,&uot; said David Kerzner, president and CEO of Paradigm. &uot;This growth is being fueled by the FCC E-911 legislation and the increased need for consumers to use GPS technology for emergency roadside assistance, traffic and navigation information and location-sensitive billing.&uot;
