NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 24, 2000
DoubleClick Inc. (Nasdaq:DCLK), the leading Internet advertising solutions company, today announced DoubleClick's DART technology recently hit a new record and is now serving on average 1.5 billion ads a day, and last week alone served 10.5 billion ads. This number surpasses the company announcement made in November stating it had hit a new high, serving 1 billion ads in a single day, averaging 5 billion ads per week. Over 11,000 sites worldwide use DART, including AltaVista, The Wall Street Journal Interactive Edition, The Globe.com, CBS SportsLine, Excite Europe, Infoseek and Bloomberg.
DART (Dynamic Advertising Reporting and Targeting) continues to scale dramatically, winning the confidence of new clients. DART's power provides sites with a scalable, reliable and high-performance Internet advertising infrastructure. DART, which served 30 billion ads in December, continues to emerge as the industry standard in the full-service advertising technology arena.
"We have developed an extremely effective, scalable, third party ad serving solution," said Kevin Ryan, President, DoubleClick. "Backed by first-rate operations, DART offers its customers speed and redundancy unmatched by competitors."
