SmartDisk Corporation (Nasdaq: SMDK), a company whose products simplify the digital lifestyle, today announced that the Memory Stick(TM) floppy disk adaptor is now available throughout the United States at consumer electronics and photo retailers from Sony Electronics Inc.

SmartDisk's floppy disk adaptor technology permits the easy transfer of data, images and audio to and from flash memory cards via a PC's 3.5-inch floppy disk drive. The device for Sony, which is called the Memory Stick/Floppy Disk Adaptor, works with all Memory Stick capacities. In addition to retail outlets, it is available directly from Sony.
