StarVox Forms Alliance with HP to Deliver Enterprise VoIP Solutions; HP to Resell StarVox IP Telephony Business Application Software

StarVox, Inc. (TM), a leading provider of enhanced telephony application software for the new generation workplace, announced today an alliance with Hewlett-Packard Company. As part of the agreement, HP will offer its customers complete turnkey Voice over IP (VoIP) solutions based on StarVox's IP telephony business application software and HP's computer telephony servers. These solutions will be delivered via HP's global integration, distribution, and support services offering businesses the trusted HP brand name for their communications networks. StarVox will also resell the integrated HP and StarVox solution.
The alliance between HP and StarVox enables the two companies to offer a variety of workplace solutions to enhance communications and keep fast-paced employees fully integrated with their company's existing voice infrastructure. HP's expertise in providing integrated telephony solutions and world class customer service, combined with StarVox's innovative voice application software, create a powerful alliance to serve the needs of global enterprise customers. Together, HP and StarVox will empower today's modern workforce by allowing employees to take their corporate phone number functionality anywhere, using any device, connecting to any type of network.

As part of this alliance, StarVox will certify its software to run on HP computer telephony platforms, such as the HP NetServer and Business Communications Servers (BCS). These servers are part of HP's computer telephony program. This program utilizes industry standard hardware and software components, along with leading applications, for rapid worldwide deployment of new communication solutions. Through the use of StarVox application software, customers can extend the functionality of their HP platform to seamlessly integrate advanced VoIP capabilities, including private dial plan support and caller name display.
