In an agreement with Genie Internet, BT Cellnet's mobile Internet Service Provider, Data Broadcasting Corp. (Nasdaq:DBCC), America's leading provider of real-time financial market data to traders and individual investors, today announced that it will supply eSignal's market data, using WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) technology, to a potential seven million users of the BT Cellnet cellular phone service.

As a result of this agreement, eSignal will offer its market data services over Genie Internet's WAP-enabled cellular phones. WAP is the technology that enables cellular phones to access data carried over the Internet. Customers will have access to market quotes from all of the major exchanges, plus a wealth of financial information, news and other essential market data -- all at the touch of a button.
