JAKKS Pacific Inc. Signs Licensing Agreements With Extreme Sport Training Ground Woodward Camp

JAKKS Pacific Inc. (Nasdaq:JAKK) today announced that it has signed a licensing agreement with Woodward Camp, located in central Pennsylvania.

JAKKS Pacific will design and manufacture, under its Road Champs(R) BXS brand, miniature bike playsets and bikes with gear accessories in the likeness of Camp Woodward's many courses. The product line is scheduled to launch Spring of 2000.

Woodward Camp is the largest riding facility in the world and is the premier riding camp for &uot;extreme sports&uot; education. Numerous themed riding areas such as &uot;The Cage&uot;, &uot;The Playground&uot; and &uot;The Hip Bowl&uot; attract potential riders from all 50 U.S. states and 23 other countries to the camp year after year for week-long summer sessions.

Focusing on inline skating, freestyle BMX, skateboarding and gymnastics, Woodward Camp has launched the careers of some of the world's top professional extreme athletes. In freestyle bike alone more than 20 pros, including Dave Mirra, Taj Mihelich, Ryan Nyquist, Joe Rich and Jay Miron, ride alongside students each summer.

Amateurs from around the world experience the motivation and knowledge of professional riders as these dedicated students progress their skills through the aggressive training programs at Woodward Camp.

Mirra, the winner of eight X-Games gold medals and two silver medals in street, vert doubles, and vert competitions, is such a strong supporter of Woodward Camp he is extending his dedication to the camp a step further.
