SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 9, 2000
Pacific WebWorks, Inc. (OTC BB:PWEB) has signed a Letter of Intent with Unishippers Association Inc. Pacific WebWorks will be developing an Internet Document Delivery Service (IDDS)(TM) on the Internet. In addition, both companies will resell the new IDDS(TM) software as well as Pacific WebWorks' Visual WebTools(TM) software.
With this alliance, Pacific WebWorks will be able to distribute Visual WebTools(TM) through Unishippers' Sales Networks. This includes 300 U.S. franchises and a business-to-business sales network of 400 established sales representatives.
The new IDDS(TM) technology will allow business customers, as well as the shipper, to digitally deliver documents through a secure, encrypted system directly to the recipient. This eliminates the security issues, cost factors and time of arrival problems currently found in traditional shipping and document courier services.
&uot;We are excited to develop the IDDS(TM) system for Unishippers and believe that it will be a profitable asset to the future technologies of the company. The new IDDS(TM) technology, which will be part of our alliance with Unishippers, could potentially be integrated into our next release of integrated software products, V4. Through this agreement, both Unishippers and Pacific WebWorks will be able to increase its services to a broad client base for sales and name recognition,&uot; stated Christian Larsen President/CEO of Pacific WebWorks, Inc.
As a reseller of Pacific WebWorks technologies, Unishippers will offer their current client base and each of their franchises the ability to sell Visual WebTools(TM) as well as the IDDS(TM) capabilities to over 200,000 businesses.
&uot; The potential of selling our complete e-business services to this established network of small to medium-sized business will be massive. This agreement will be very good for Pacific WebWorks,&uot; continued Mr. Larsen.
Pacific WebWorks believes that this agreement will bring an estimated $3 million in additional revenue this year.
