JAKKS Pacific Inc. Signs Licensing Agreements With BMX Manufacturer Kink Inc

JAKKS Pacific Inc. (Nasdaq:JAKK) today announced that it has signed a licensing agreement with Kink Inc. under which it will design and manufacture, under its Road Champs(R) BXS brand, collectible miniature die-cast BMX bikes and vehicles, mini bike part accessories, bike sets and bikes with gear accessories that are replicas of Kink bikes. The product lines are expected to launch in the spring of 2000.

Kink Inc. has headquartered in Rochester, N.Y., and produces an assortment of high-end BMX bike parts and components -- from frames and handlebars to sprockets and axles -- that are specifically engineered to withstand the stresses and rigors of BMX competition.

All Kink's products are manufactured domestically, most of them in its hometown, and among motocross, freestyle and dirt-jumping enthusiasts, Kink products enjoy a made-in-the-USA reputation for quality and durability.
