New Web Site Program (http://www.agfa.com/betasoftware/) Provides
Agfa Scanner Customers with Beta-Version Scanner Driver Software
Agfa Corporation's Desktop Products Group (USA-DTP), a leading provider of award-winning digital cameras and desktop scanners, today launched a new Internet Web Site Program (http://www.agfa.com/betasoftware/) providing Agfa scanner customers with beta-version software of ScanWise and FotoLook 3.5, the scanner drivers for Agfa's SnapScan and DuoScan scanners. A 'bug report' database has been created so that the beta-testers can submit their reports and feedback on the software.
Agfa's Beta Software Program is immediately available from the following Web Site: (http://www.agfa.com/betasoftware/)
"The new Web Site Program enables Agfa to receive feedback from actual customers," said Scott Signore, Marketing Manager, USA-DTP. "We look to put the customer's comments to good use!"
The new Web Site Program will consist of four major parts - beta homepage, terms and conditions, a download area and a bug report feedback page. The beta homepage is the location where information about the program will be provided, and will also explain what beta software is and what role beta testers can play. The terms and conditions part will be a section on the legal implications of the beta software. The download area will be where the actual software is downloaded from. Finally, the bug report area will be where beta testers can give their feedback.
