In its commitment to deliver the highest-quality and most cost-effective foundry services to the GaAs compound semiconductor industry, Global Communication Semiconductors (GCS) Inc. has achieved ISO 9002 certification.

GCS, based in Torrance, is an ISO 9002-certified company. GCS provides compound semiconductor foundry services to the telecommunication and high-speed networking industries. It currently offers HBT foundry service for both InGaP and AlGaAs processes.

Additionally, GCS is delivering optoelectronic devices such as VCSEL and PIN diodes for the fiber communication market and is providing SAW filter foundry service for handset applications. The company also plans to offer PHEMT foundry services in the first quarter of 2000.
