Ticketmaster Announces Long-Term Ticketing Agreement With Detroit Tigers at Comerica Park, Featuring New Access Control Technology System

Ticketmaster, a USA company (Nasdaq:USAI) has announced an exclusive, long-term ticketing agreement with the Detroit Tigers at Comerica Park whereby Ticketmaster will provide ticketing services for all Detroit Tiger home games. Additionally, Comerica Park will debut its state-of-the-art automated access control ticketing system and bar-coding technology.
Ticketmaster will provide Comerica Park with state-of-the-art ticketing that provides the system technology to validate event tickets in real-time. This system will provide Comerica Park with immediate inventory and attendance management including the ability to prohibit the use of counterfeit tickets; expedite replacement of lost tickets; and enable fans to enjoy faster and easier access into and out of Comerica Park.

When tickets to Comerica Park events go on-sale, fans will be able to purchase them at Ticketmaster retail Ticket Centers including Hudson's and Harmony House stores throughout Detroit or by calling Ticketmaster Charge-By-Phone; and via Internet at www.ticketmaster.com.
Comerica Park is a new state-of-the-art 40,000 seat, multi-purpose facility that will host concerts and sporting events. Located in downtown Detroit, the venue also features 120 luxury suites and a Hall of Fame Museum Walk which will envelop the entire circumference of the main concourse and provide patrons with a walking history of baseball and American lifestyle.
