NYFIX Inc. Applies for Move From AMEX to Nasdaq

NYFIX, Inc. (AMEX: NYF) today announced that the Company has filed an application with Nasdaq for its common stock to trade on the Nasdaq Stock Market. NYFIX is currently traded under the symbol NYF on the American Stock Exchange. The Company has received commitments from Deutsche Bank, ING Barings, Knight Securities, Lehman Brothers, Inc., Morgan Stanley Dean Witter and Warburg Dillon Read that they intend to make a market in NYFIX' stock. Based on its financial condition, the Company expects the application to be promptly approved.
