New eALITY eXPress(TM) Editions Offer Small Businesses an
Integrated Solution - Enabling Expense Report, Purchase Order, Time Sheet and other Business Data to Flow into Leading Accounting Packages
eALITY, Inc., a leading pure Application Service Provider (ASP) delivering web-based, outsourced business application services for small- to mid-sized companies, today announced that it has integrated eALITY eXPress(TM) with Intuit's QuickBooks(TM) and Great Plains(TM) Dynamics(TM) and eEnterprise,(TM) leading accounting packages for small to mid-sized businesses catering to an estimated 3 million companies.
The QuickBooks Edition and Great Plains Edition, available now, combine the expense report, purchase order, timesheet and vacation request forms, using eALITY's routing and approval engine, into one simple-to-use package that incorporates a gateway service to easily integrate these web-based forms into a customer's QuickBooks accounting or Great Plains business management system. eALITY's additional 40 application services, designed to automate a wide variety of other business processes, can be added easily to either of these base packages.
"We used to have to re-key information from our consultants' time sheets and expense reports manually into QuickBooks," said Dianne Conry, controller of Murdock and Associates, a financial services consulting firm serving Silicon Valley technology businesses. "Using eALITY eXPress, there is no need for double data entry and we've dramatically improved our ability to reconcile timesheets and expense reports with our QuickBooks ledger in real-time and with less effort."
How It Works
eALITY eXPress users simply access their business forms via the Internet with a standard web browser. When a form is submitted, eALITY eXPress manages the routing and approval process, using the Internet as the company's network. Once officially approved and completed, the accounting or finance manager can quickly and easily export the data from the web-form to the QuickBooks or Great Plains back-end accounting system with the touch of a single button.
"Small, fast-growing businesses must find ways to build more capable and less costly business processes. By integrating four of our core application services with these two market-leading accounting systems, we've created an easy-to-access employee desktop that delivers real value for this market," said Brian Gentile, vice president of marketing and business development at eALITY. "With either of these eALITY eXPress editions, even small companies can leverage sophisticated functionality that has otherwise been reserved for large Fortune 500-type businesses."
eALITY is the first company to offer cost-effective, business application services specifically developed to manage the day-to-day business processes of small- and mid-sized companies. Further, the service has been designed and priced so these businesses can quickly and cost-effectively implement best-of-breed processes without requiring additional IT resources. By integrating its pure ASP service with popular accounting packages, eALITY gives customers an easier way to manage core business processes while providing them with both greater financial control and predictive analysis capabilities.
