NEW YORK--(ENTERTAINMENT WIRE)--January 19, 2000
VH1.com is pleased to announce that at 2:00 p.m. ET today, former Guns N Roses lead guitarist Slash will be dropping by for a little Internet radio "coffee break" courtesy of VH1 at Work.
Known for his smoldering guitar-work with Guns N Roses and his equally fiery behavior offstage, Slash will now take his turn spinning his favorite hits on www.VH1.com's exclusive Web radio station.
Guns N Roses were often hailed for bringing authentic bad-ass rock n roll theatrics back to the genre, and Slash has continued to live up to the legend.
Slash plans to release "Ain't Life Grand" on Feb. 22nd, with a revamped version of his sometime band Snakepit (with whom he released the 1995 side project "It's 5 o' Clock Somewhere"). Better-known for crawling around L.A.'s tattoo and leather-filled late night haunts, Snakepit most recently performed at a slightly more upscale venue, President Clinton's New Years Eve Party.
With such a busy schedule, we particularly appreciate him taking the time out to visit VH1 at Work. Tune in today at 2 p.m. ET, only on VH1.com.
