META Security Group Announces Appointment of Wayne Luchtenburg as Senior Vice President of Sales and Channel Development

Former META Group Senior Vice President to Lead Sales and
Channel Development for its Affiliate, META Security Group
META Security Group, an independent information security consulting firm, today announced the addition of Wayne Luchtenburg as senior vice president of sales and channel development.
He joins META Security Group from META Group, a leading information technology (IT) research and advisory services firm, where he served as senior vice president of sales for five years. META Security Group is a META Group affiliate.

Luchtenburg brings more than 13 years of experience in software, hardware and information technology consulting. While at META Group, he served as senior vice president of sales for the company's largest region and was the most successful manager in META Group's history. Luchtenburg rated highest in META Group's new business development, client and employee retention and project consulting sales. He also was responsible for a 500 percent increase in sales for META Group Consulting in 1998 and 1999.
Prior to META Group, Luchtenburg worked at Softmart Inc., where he was responsible for developing and launching the company's information technology outsourcing capabilities.
