IBM today announced that InfoWorld magazine has named the RS/6000 S80 server as the 1999 Product of the Year in the Network Hardware category.
InfoWorld selects Product of the Year award winners based on how well a product solves the most pressing business problems faced by IT executives. The award reflects the performance and integrity of products in the industry's most demanding real-world testing environment.
