United Customer Management Solutions (UCMS), a worldwide leader in customer relationship management (CRM) outsourcing services, today announced it has bolstered its worldwide &U.S. operations with the appointment of three senior executives: Sharon Matthews, chief executive officer for UCMS worldwide, Edward Norton, president of UCMS, Inc. (U.S.) and Mandeep Khera, vice president of UCMS worldwide marketing.

Founded in 1995 with offices in Australia, the U.K. and the U.S., UCMS employs more than 900, and is the leading CRM outsourcing company in Australia. UCMS has tapped a cadre of experienced, seasoned executives with more than 70 combined years in high technology management to drive its U.S. operations.

Sharon Matthews, chief executive officer for UCMS worldwide, has more than 20 years experience in managing system implementation for clients in the public and private sectors, business development, leading small and large project teams and managing strategic relationships with systems and service vendors. Prior to UCMS, Ms. Matthews was at Unisys as SI principal and general manager and director for the Postal and Retail Market Sector Groups within Unisys' ISG practice in Australia. Prior to Unisys, she held management positions at Wang including regional manager, national manager and senior director. At Prime Computer, she was most recently senior manager for office systems marketing, and also held marketing and business development positions with Sigma Data Corporation and Wrightcell Sellotape Ltd.

Edward Norton, president of UCMS Inc., brings more than 30 years management experience in working with software, systems integration and customer service companies in Europe, Asia and the U.S. Prior to UCMS, Mr. Norton was president of Consilium, a California-based software company that provides integrated solutions for semiconductor manufacturing companies worldwide. Prior to Consilium, he was vice president and general manager for Pyramid Technology (now Siemens-Nixdorf) Asia Pacific, based in Hong Kong. He also held the position of vice president and general manager, for Pyramid's worldwide customer services division, based in California. Prior to Pyramid, Mr. Norton held management positions at Tolerant Systems (now Veritas) and Burroughs Corp. (now Unisys) in Europe.

Mandeep Khera, vice president of worldwide marketing, has more than 19 years combined experience in high technology marketing, R&, customer service, finance and product management. Prior to UCMS, Mr. Khera was vice president of marketing and development for Embarcadero Systems Corp., a start-up software company. Prior to Embarcadero Systems, Mr. Khera worked at Hewlett-Packard for 11 years, where he held several senior management positions, including product line manager for a newly-established global technology business unit HP Asset Management which he started from scratch, customer service manager, and financial operations manager.
