LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 31, 2000

In response to President Clinton's strong statements in regard to medical record integrity and privacy, Anonymous Data Corp. (OTCBB:ANYD), of Las Vegas, a biometric-based data management company, stated that the speech from the president recognizes a great need for services that supply medical record integrity, such as ADC provides.

An excerpt from Clinton's State of the Union address Thursday evening further illustrates the president's position on the importance and potential for abuse of medical records:

&uot;First and foremost, we have to safeguard our citizens' privacy. Last year, we proposed to protect every citizen's medical record. This year, we will finalize those rules,&uot; said President Clinton. &uot;We've also taken the first steps to protect the privacy of bank and credit card records and other financial statements.

&uot;Soon I will send legislation to you to finish that job. We must also act to prevent any genetic discrimination whatever by employers or insurers. I hope you will support that.&uot;

The final address from President Clinton and his strong remarks toward medical record integrity were welcomed by Dr. James E. Beecham, of ADC: &uot;We are appreciative of the president's concern for an issue on which we have built a company.

&uot;We believe that perhaps the public and some of our governmental leaders are as yet unaware of the potential harm that can be done through abuse or misuse or medical records. We are also confident that biometrics has a place in solving this problem.&uot;

Anonymous Data Corp. is a sole-source original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of ADCNET(TM). The systems integration company produces customized biometric identification systems under exclusive ADC patent licenses.

One such application of the ADCNET(TM) is designed to maintain the control and confidentiality of sensitive medical test data entirely within the direction and discretion of the individual tested.

The company's name, Anonymous Data, is derived from the ability to manage sensitive medical data without relying on the tested individual's name, but rather a biometric code (from scan of the tested individual's iris or electronic fingerprint).

ADCNET(TM) is applicable to records in the courts and judicial systems, donor identification in plasma/blood banking, epidemiology, HIV and sexually transmitted diseases (STD), prevention of fraud in medical billing, confidential drug testing results and other businesses that require customized secure database applications.

Additionally, ADCNET(TM) is applicable internationally in other areas where medical data ties to other important functions such as disaster relief, vaccination records, voter/health registration and passport control.
