Axis Appoints VP of Worldwide Sales, Opens New Offices, Seeks International Distributors; John Stressing Joins as VP of Worldwide Sales

Axis Systems, Inc. (Axis), a supplier of the fastest electronic design automation (EDA) simulation acceleration solutions announced today that it has appointed John Stressing as its first VP of worldwide sales, opened sales and support offices in Boston, MA and Austin, TX and is seeking distribution partners in the Pacific Rim and in Israel. Later this year, Axis Systems will open a direct sales office in Europe.

Axis customers use its Xcite verification system to simulate, verify and debug systems-on-chip (SoC) design functionality. The new offices and staff provide sales and support for Axis rapidly growing customer base.

Stressing was most recently VP of Worldwide Sales at Applied Microsystems Corporation. Previously, he was VP of Worldwide Sales and served as European Director and VP of International Sales at Ikos Systems. Stressing has also run a consulting firm and held sales and management positions at Zycad, Teradyne and British Aerospace.
