LONG BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 5, 2000

Season ticket holders of The Ohio State University men's and women's basketball can now renew their season tickets online with the recent installation of e.Venue from Paciolan Systems.

Bundled with IBM Net.Commerce, e.Venue allows Ohio State to automatically process season renewals and payments via the Internet.

"The Ohio State season renewal process is a critical part of the service we provide to our customers, and at the same time, is very costly and labor intensive. Using e.Venue allows us to deliver greater customer convenience, while reducing overhead," said Richelle Simonson, assistant athletic director at The Ohio State University.

e.Venue is an add-on module that complements existing ticketing applications from Paciolan. With Paciolan's ticketing and e.Venue systems, Ohio State and other venues are able to create customized season ticket renewal forms on the Web.

Dwayne Cooper, e.Venue product manger at Paciolan Systems, stated that, "In addition to renewing seats, Ohio State's season ticket holders can also request seating upgrades and order additional items such as single-event tickets or products in one online transaction."

Cooper added that e.Venue enables Ohio State to retain complete control of ticket inventory, customer service and key marketing data.
