PeopleSoft Inc. (Nasdaq:PSFT), a global e-Business solutions leader, today shipped Customer Profitability Workbench, the first in a series of pure Internet eBusiness intelligence applications that turn business data into information that is used to create profitable customer relationships.
The Customer Profitability Workbench leverages data from PeopleSoft's CRM and ERP applications so that companies can quickly and accurately identify their most profitable customers, products and channels.

With PeopleSoft's Customer Profitability Workbench, businesses can identify the areas that are driving profits and drill down to pinpoint key information about customers, products and channels. The Customer Profitability Workbench is used to answer numerous key business questions, such as:

Other EPM products that can be combined with the Customer Profitability Workbench to provide a more integrated and accurate view of customer profitability, include:

businesses define and assign activity and resource costs for
