Solant Expands Executive Team With New Vice President of Business Development; New Position Allows for Aggressive Growth

Solant Inc. (formerly Novazen), leading provider of Interactive Customer Care (ICC) and Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment (EBPP) solutions, today announced the appointment of Robert Ford as vice president of business development.
Ford brings more than 18 years of business, strategy and alliance experience to the Solant executive team. In his role as vice president of business development, Ford oversees strategic alliances and partnerships as well as mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to joining Solant, Ford was vice president of business development, Europe, for MediaOne International, where he was responsible for cable/telephony and wireless communications development activities across Europe. He was involved with managing the sale of MediaOne's European assets in preparation for its upcoming merger with AT&T, and he participated in several acquisition transactions for MediaOne.
During his 18-year career, Ford also served with US WEST in various capacities, including executive director of business development and director of finance for its Dex Midwest region, and he has worked in the banking and investment industries.
