MIDDLETOWN, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 11, 2000
The Pennsylvania Lottery has drawn the names of 100 semi-finalists in the Pocono Race For The Riches instant game second-chance drawing. This is the fourth group of semi-finalists to qualify to attend the Pennsylvania 500 race and have a chance to win a replica pace car.
Each week, for five weeks, 100 names are selected from among the thousands of entries in the Pocono Race For The Riches second-chance drawing. Duplicate names on the list denote that the person's name has been selected more than once, due to more than one entry. Each receives a Pocono Raceway/PA Lottery jacket. In total, 500 semi-finalists are selected for the Pennsylvania 500 race.
From the group of 500, five finalists randomly will be selected to attend the Pennsylvania 500 race, July 21 - 23, 2000. The five finalists each will receive $5,000 cash, a weekend at Pocono Raceway and a chance at winning a Pocono Raceway replica pace car. Prior to the race, each finalist selects a key. The finalist whose key successfully starts the pace car wins. The winner will have the opportunity to make a pre-race parade lap around the track in the car.
