NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 12, 2000

Razorfish, Inc. (NASDAQ:RAZF), the global digital solutions provider, and the Giorgio Armani group, one of the world's leading fashion houses, today announced the collaborative creation of www.giorgioarmani.com. With the use of advanced technology, world class design, and culturally diverse and compelling content, the site offers visitors a unique interaction with the five separate lifestyle sites of the house of Armani under one umbrella: Giorgio Armani (www.giorgioarmani.com), Armani Collezioni (www.armanicollezioni.com), Emporio Armani (www.emporioarmani.com), Armani Jeans (www.armanijeans.com), and Armani Exchange (www.armaniexchange.com).

Robert Triefus, corporate vice president of worldwide communications for the Giorgio Armani group said, "The development of this site is an effective way to capture the intrinsic essence of Armani and expand our brand and identity into the digital medium. We are providing an invigorating opportunity for visitors to experience the Armani lifestyle in an interactive and personalized way."

In an effort to convey the key brand elements of Armani, Razorfish developed the site with extensive use of flash technology, delivering a highly animated and unique way to experience the lifestyle brands of the Giorgio Armani group. Original composed sound and audio capabilities complement the site's visual esthetic, giving the visitor a unique sensory experience.

`Searching for a Sake-tini in Osaka,' `Desperate for a Date in Stockholm,' or `Celebrities in Singapore,' are just a few examples of experiences the user can explore in the Culture Finder section within the online Emporio Armani Cafe. Together Razorfish and Armani also developed innovative cultural features highlighting destinations such as Glasgow, Seoul, Hamburg, Madrid and Tokyo. The visitor is introduced to a variety of hip, sophisticated venues to dine, dance the night away, and socialize with like-spirited denizens. Razorfish and Armani created this section to enable visitors to view lifestyle opportunities worldwide, while underscoring the distinct style and presence of each Armani label.

"This is a truly exciting evolution, due to the highly collaborative process between both Razorfish and Armani in the creation of the www.giorgioarmani.com site," said Andrew Smith, client partner for Razorfish. "The unique quality and passion which Armani embraces is consistent with Razorfish, and allowed us to leverage the skills and creativity of our firm with the imagination of Mr. Armani. This site reflects our ability to maximize a great brand and identity across all media platforms. Similarly, our ability to customize to the individual user is reflected in features such as the global store locator, a guest book for user registration, and the Culture Finder section of the Emporio Armani Cafe."
