talenthill announced that Dan Garner, founder of the internationally recognized Entrepreneur Of The Year Awards and former National Director of Entrepreneurial Services at Ernst & Young, has agreed to join its advisory board.

Mr. Garner spent over 30 years at Ernst & Young in a variety of senior positions including National Director of Business Management Services, and National Director of Global Employee Solutions. He has advised clients ranging from emerging growth companies to Fortune 100s including American Express, EDS, PepsiCo, Sperry (Unisys), Texas Instruments and Time-Warner.

In 1981, Mr. Garner launched the Entrepreneurial Services group of Ernst & Young. In 1985, Mr. Garner became National Director of Entrepreneurial Services and over the next nine years built that practice into the largest nationwide organization of professionals dedicated solely to serving owner-managed businesses.

Since his retirement, he has served as a consultant and member of the Board of Directors or Advisors for AllBusiness.com, Capitalyst.com, Gazelles Inc., Getintegrated.com, Horny Toad Activewear, iDefense.com, Staffing Solutions and West, Lane and Schlager Realty Advisors. He has served as Chairman of the Board of HealthTask, CEO of Global Expatriate Support Services, President of Ernst & Young Resources LLC and Chairman of the Board of the Entrepreneur Of The Year Institute.

Mr. Garner founded the Dallas Venture Capital Forum and the Southwest Venture Capital Conference and has served as a guest lecturer and member of the Entrepreneurship Steering Committee of the Graduate School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin and at NYU's Stern School.

Mr. Garner is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin. He is the co-author of The Ernst & Young Guide to Financing for Growth and has served for many years as a judge in MOOT CORP, an international entrepreneurship competition among top graduate business schools.
