New Partnership Combines PowerFile's Technology and Innovation
with Ingram's Extensive Distribution Channel
PowerFile today announced the signing of an agreement with Ingram Micro Inc, world's largest wholesale provider of technology products and services.
Under the terms of the contract, Ingram Micro will have full distribution rights in the U.S. to existing and future PowerFile(TM) products, including the PowerFile C200 DVD/CD Changer.
Effective immediately, Ingram Micro will begin distributing the PowerFile C200 DVD/CD Changer.

The unique 200 disc, IEEE-1394 FireWire(TM), peripheral includes two DVD-ROM drives and provides about a terabyte of storage space for a suggested retail price of $1,799. The PowerFile C200 DVD/CD Changer gives users the ability to safely store, manage and share a wide variety of productivity media across a network. In addition to being the only FireWire DVD/CD Changer on the market today, the C200 includes client/server management software for the Macintosh(TM) and Windows(TM) at no additional cost.
Also available is the PowerFile-Cumulus 5 bundled solution, integrating the C200 DVD/CD Changer with Canto's Cumulus 5 Digital Asset Management software.
The combination of PowerFile's digital storage solution with Canto's market leading asset management tools provides a truly reliable, low cost near-line solution for effectively managing digital assets such as images, text, audio and video files.
