"Our customers have asked for cellular access in Baja California, so we developed a roaming agreement with a Mexico-based wireless provider to enable us to offer this service at a competitive rate of 60 cents per minute, plus long distance charges," says Montes.
"With all the golf resorts, fishing opportunities, and other attractions in Baja, more and more people are traveling south of the border for weekend or vacation getaways. And of course many of our customers have family and friends living in Baja California. Now they can enjoy the convenience and safety of using their Verizon Wireless cellular phones for personal and business calls within Baja as well as to the United States. All our customers need to do is contact Customer Care for activation," he adds.
